What We Do

What is adaptive fitness, and how does it benefit individuals with disabilities or limited mobility?

Adaptive fitness is a personalized approach to exercise designed for individuals with disabilities or limited mobility. It focuses on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and overall health through safe and accessible exercises tailored to each person’s needs. This approach helps manage symptoms, reduces pain, enhances mental well-being, and improves overall quality of life.

What does the program look like?

When you sign up for B.E. Fit, you will be paired with a volunteer. You will meet at your selected time at a local gym for session. These sessions will be one on one, personally tailored to your goals.

We also provide group classes to local community groups or organizations. Let us know if your organization is interested!

What does the initial assessment look like?

At your first session, your volunteer will go over an assessment to determine what your personal fitness goals will be. Our Fitness Director will write a custom program to help you reach your goals.
